Good Foresight is a nonprofit community, launched in May 2025 by a group of academic and corporate foresight practitioners, complexity scholars, and creative thinkers.
Our Mission
We seek to help open-minded, learning-oriented people to improve their personal, organizational, and societal foresight, agency, and evidence-based adaptiveness, in a world of predictable accelerating change. We strive to better see, discuss, and steer toward "the Good" wherever we find it.
Topics We Cover (A Partial List)
Foresight Models, Frameworks, Methods, Practice, and Practitioners, Futures Stories, Accelerating Change, Complex Adaptiveness, Evolutionary Development ("Evo-Devo"), Network-Centric Thinking, Adaptive Strategy and Solutions, Self-Growth, Work, Education, Investing, Health, Longevity, Activism, Democracy, Empathy, Ethics, Progress, Purpose, Relationships, Parenting, Good Personal, Team, Organizational, Global, and Universal Foresight and Futures.
Who We Are
Our parent nonprofit is the Acceleration Studies Foundation (est. 2003). ASF is still the only organization in the world that is primarily dedicated to the scholarly, understanding of accelerating change as a universal, biological, cultural, and technological process. ASF also runs an education arm, Foresight University (est. 2015), and a complexity research community, the Evo-Devo Institute (est. 2008).
At present, we are:
